Scarborough Housing Help Centre is a non-profit agency whose purpose is
to help the people find and maintain affordable market rent accommodation.
Looking for market-rental accommodation?
The agency works with landlords to provide units at affordable rents. We meet
with clients, over the phone and in person, to understand their whole situation
and support them in addressing issues they may face in becoming and staying
housed.
We understand each of our clients have unique circumstances about their housing
needs. We provide additional assistance such as:

Educate our clients on their rights and responsibilities;

support for negotiation with landlords; or
-
connection to the many other agencies with services that complement the housing help services offered by SHHC.

Scarborough Housing Help Centre can provide the application for Toronto Social
Housing Connections and assist clients with filling the application out in
full. The management and approval for all applications are administered by
Toronto Social Housing Connections (www.housingconnections.ca).
